CNC SUPRA Vertical Knee Mill Features

  • The SUPRA Vertical Mill is designed to work with your Windows 10 64 bit operating systems through your standard USB port.
  • Powerful X, Y, and Z-axis micro-stepper motors NEMA size 34 with 1760 oz-in of torque on the X/Y and 1200 oz-in of torque on the Z. Stronger torque coupled with micro-stepping motion keeps the CNC Supra from losing steps and performs as accurate as a servo system.
  • The minimum possible motion for the SUPRA Vertical Knee Mill is 0.0002” with a minimum speed of 0.05” per minute. The maximum speed is 100” per minute on your Rapid Settings with ramp down effect to keep the machine from jerking.
  • X & Y Zero Backlash Ball Screws with pre-loaded ball nuts to eliminate play on the table travel, and give precision machining
  • X & Y Direct Drives–no belts to adjust. This results in smoother operations and ensures accuracy unlike bipolar, pulley and belt, drive methods which can cause the belt to buckle causing inaccurate results. This unique design of direct drive keeps you without having the need to change the belt or adjust as it wears down.

I have been running my CNC-Supra many years now machining ceramics. Machine is still very accurate. I have been machining for 40 years and the CNC-Supra is the best machine I have ever owned. A lot of machine for the money. Their tech support is the best I’ve ever experienced.
My next machine will be a CNC-Supra from CNC Masters.

I purchased the 10 X 54 SUPRA 4 axis Mill in August of 2018. I am an old “Mill Hand” with experience on everything from Bridgeport Js to advanced centers. I made the decision to upgrade from my Supermax YC 1-1/2 home shop manual machine to a CNC. After months of surfing reviews and talking to Supra owners and Omar at CNC Masters, and with much trepidation, I opted for the big CNC Masters Supra.
My greatest fear was the low price affecting quality and performance. After 8 months all “trepidation” and fear have totally vanished! THIS IS A KEEPER………
Biggest Question: How does CNC Masters get so much quality and performance in a machine at a third the price or less of a comparable “name” brand?
My machine weighs almost 4000 lbs and is extremely rigid. I routinely make 1-1/4 dia 0.600 deep cuts on semi-hard 4340 and finish within 0.001.
I generally machine aluminum at 5000+ rpm and and crazy feed-rates. The built-in coolant tank is huge and the coolant system is almost always used.
Although I have a dxf/dwg converter, I program direct from my drawing to the CNC Masters MasterMX proprietary controller software via g-code which provides a tool-path and code analysis before hitting “run”.
CNC Masters customer service is the kind you just don’t find anymore in today’s world; personal and timely beyond belief. Omar is always patient, knowledgeable, and dependable.
I experienced a spindle stop problem. A call to Omar and the problem was diagnosed and solved. I had a new stop switch within 36 hours of the problem, free.
I had a question regarding one their many proprietary g-code canned cycles. I emailed my program to Omar and my program with the canned cycle g-code edited in was returned within 2 hours. Ran the program perfectly first try.
This is a 5-STAR company all the way. I have not had a dissatisfied feeling or unresolved issue since the purchase of my machine. Not once.
The quality of their machine and the selling price is an unbeatable combination. PERIOD……………

I purchased a CNC Masters Supra Mill about 10 years ago. Customer service is excellent, and the mill has performed great. It has saved me a LOT of money and time by not having to outsource machined parts.

We recently added another Supra to our secondary production line and up-sized to the larger 10X54; it is definitely the bigger brother to the 9X49, these units perform without any trouble running 2-shifts 5-days a week. Support contact is quick to respond with the solution to any concern we have. We are a custom injection molder that use these machines for secondary machining operations (drilling, tapping, counter-bores and de-gating, ect…) for our plastic parts. They are quick, accurate and built as well as a high-end NC mill. It is simple to program using the supplied software or using a cam software; we use Master-Cam; you will need to remove some code that a large NC Machining center would require (such as auto tool changers, coolant….).
We have had tool makers see these machines running and cant believe how well they perform for the cost. We definitely recommend them and will continue using them.

I purchased the 10 X 54 SUPRA Mill in Aug. 2013. I’ve had no formal training in Machine Shop work much less CNC operations to include writing CODE. Needless to say, I began from “scratch”. My machine was shipped to me (Alaska) and it arrived well crated and in perfect condition. For those unfamiliar with getting large items shipped to Alaska, our large items come to us by an ocean-going barge so I was well pleased that ocean spray had NEVER penetrated the shipping container. After opening the crate and moving the machine into my shop, I began reading the manual. I was impressed!! The manual was concise and orderly written. Everything was explained clearly and perfectly; nothing was left to chance. I have previously purchased new machines and the manuals were poorly written IN BROKEN, and often times poor English at best. This WAS NOT the case with Ormar’s manual. This manual led to easy machine Setup and Operation. When I began using the mill, I “pestered” Omar to death with questions. Omar “hung in there” with me and I was (and still am) impressed with customer service. A rare commodity in these times. My phone calls were multiple times each day, for more than several months, and there was NEVER a time that Omar failed to take my call. After a 5 (five) year period I STILL call Omar and he helps me with writing CODE and explaining what certain lines of CODE mean. Folks, this is SERVICE!!! Any other vendor would have dropped me as soon as they got my money BUT Omar never gave up on me. Although I use the SUPRA for various things, I purchased this machine to mainly fabricate rifle parts. My machine has performed flawlessly over 5 years and I’ve grown to trust this machine. I have found it to be VERY accurate. My dealings with CNC MASTERS have been stellar! I have no hesitation nor mental reservation recommending CNC MASTERS, Omar, and the SUPRA product line whatsoever. I took “the plunge” and have never regretted my purchase. CNC MASTERS are good people to deal with, the SUPRA is a spectacular product, and I recommend CNC MASTERS highly.
